Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great night; I was as we all know me so well...UP all night. But not a biggie, I actually enjoy it sometimes. I get some of my best work finished or started at night when I have no one to bother me. It's nice.
Well last Thursday {April 7th} was our official one year anniversary. Although we are not married {yet...teehee}, we both have been counting the days to April 7th and it was such a GREAT day. When he came home from work or actually before he arrived home, he called and told me to get dressed and ready to go out to dinner and a movie. I was very happy with this. Especially when I found out that he was taking me to my favorite Chinese buffet for dinner. I was so hungry but couldn't hardly eat anything...ughhh. Oh well. Dinner was great, the conversation was perfect and we reflected on the past year. We talked about how we want to get a house soon, talked about the fact that we have really not been in a fight at this point. Eric is just tickled by that fact, not that I'm not but his past relationships have been with women who like to argue or something, I don't know. Eric and I just have this terrific bond and it's just been there since day one.
After dinner we decided on a movie which was The Source Code. I liked it a lot. I wouldn't think that this would be a movie I would cry at...but yea, I did. There was a sad part to it and if you have seen it then you most likely know that part I am referring to. After the movie, it was off to grab some ice-cream and then home. So we went to United Dairy Farmer's and I got a chocolate malt ... mmmm they have the BEST malts, but then again I always ask them to put extra malt powder in it. I recommend this for anyone who likes malts. It adds soooo much more flavor and WOW, it's so worth it!
Well celebrating our anniversary wasn't over with just Thursday evening. Nope...we had to spread it out a few days and include my kiddo's into it. Which meant a lot to me that we decided to do that. We went to the Cincinnati Zoo on Sunday {April 10th} all day and it was a GORGEOUS day for it let me tell you that! It was also a very PACKED day as far as visitors as well. But that didn't spoil it for any of us. We all had such a great time both seeing the animals and being with one another. At the zoo right now is a new baby giraffe that was just this past week {April 5th} put out for public show. And this meant a 30 minute wait in a line for a 30 SECOND view through a little window. So Kristin decided that she could wait on that. She is in LOVE with giraffes, and when I first heard of this, Eric and I knew that she would go nutty when she found out. Well she didn't know a thing about it until we were almost to the line. She freaked out!!! I loved it! So that is why it was left completely up to Kristin if we left out of the line.
I want to share some pictures of us at the zoo:
{Kevin & Kristin almost right when we arrived}
{Eric!}
{Not the best pic of the two of us, but the only one that was taken this day}
{Kevin, w/ Kristin on his lap, and me in front of the tigers}
{Kevin & Kristin}
{These flowers are amazing!!!}
{Radiant}
{What did I tell you? Are you dying at this site!!}
Now for the ride home...Eric and I are in the front seat and I knew nothing of these pics until Kristin posted them on her Facebook...This is what they were doing in the back seat...goofballs! LoL!
{On her FB it reads "In disguise" lol}
{On her FB she references how she looks and wonders what Kevin is doing, come to think of it, I wonder that myself...LoL!}
{I don't know, your guess is as good as mine here}
{And she took one of Kevin, and a good one at that!}
So that was our trip to {and from} the Cincinnati Zoo. I hope you liked the pictures. I know I have no animal pics included here, but I will post those someday maybe, a lot of those!!!
I want to thank you for stopping by today!!! Please have a fantastical day and I will be back soon!!!

Congratulations Christy! Your pics are great. Your celebrations sounds wonderful, it is great when they involve our kids in things isn't it? I think that is one of the reasons I love Mike so much!
Congratulations! It sounds like you had a great time and thanks for sharing all the pics of the zoo! Great pics and beautiful flowers. Kim :)
