Positive Journey ~ Day 2 + I am getting a new car!!!

Good Evening everyone!!!

I have some WONDERFUL NEWS to share with you all and it goes with today's Positive note all to well!

I will first show you the Positive Note in this journey first:

Also remember that I am not going to decorate these all and they all will not be masterpieces.  It is the message that I am focusing on here.  The creativity will come.

So the reason why this is just a great message for today is this...I was at Eric's cousin Stephanie baby shower this afternoon when I got a call from my mom.  She told me that a friend of hers is GIVING me her car...for FREE!  Yes you read that correctly.  I am told it is a Volkswagen Passat GLS station wagon in excellent condition.  Here is a picture from the web that I found:

Not only is it in excellent condition I am told it has electric everything on the inside which is a definite plus AND when I start to teach in January I will now have the extra room to bring both my Cricut Expression, Cricut Expression 2, my Sizzix and all the supplies I will need without having to figure out where to put it all in my car!

So this truly has been a GREAT day with GREAT news and wonderful giving people.

The friend of my mom who this is coming from has come into a newer vehicle by surprise which is why she is getting rid of it.  My mom said to me a few minutes ago that her friend actually missed driving it...LoL!

Car Accident...I am ok...Just shook up

Good morning everyone.  Yesterday morning {October 5th} I was in my first car accident.  I was leaving Walmart near my home and turning right at a light when a gas tanker truck ran into my right side pushing me off the road and destroying my car.  It will be totaled and there is nothing I can say about that.  More $ to fix than  my 97 Toyota Camry is worth at this point.  Although the engine is still in tip top condition, its still a total loss.  The truck driver is blaming me and I am going to include pics at the bottom of this post and I will let them speak for themselves.  My insurance is covering me completely and is going to go after this guys insurance company.  I got a rental car yesterday...a Crown Vic, not sure of the year but I am guessing that it is fairly new.  It is a huge change up from my car.  

So I am waiting now on the adjuster to check out what is left of my Toyota and get back with me and then go from there.  

Yesterday was not a great day...I was and still am very emotional over the whole ordeal.  I was so scared that when the truck was just continuing to run over the whole length of my car and not stop immediately...then I saw that it was a gas tanker semi and I was extremely scared b/c I was afraid it was going to blow up or something.  Nothing like that happened, there was no fire thank God.  I am OK, sore a bit in the neck, shoulders, and back...but I will live.
