*Memento - Tuxedo Black ink
*I used my Sizzix Big Shot and Spellbinders die-cuts for the scalloped ovals

I sincerely hope that you will join us over at the Repeat Impressions Blog and upload your take on this exciting sketch!  Remember there is a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate from Repeat Impressions...so what's stopping you!?

What If? Wednesday - Sketch Challenge

Good morning my crafty friends and welcome to another What If? Wednesday.  We have another great sketch from Wendy to work with.
I created two cards with this sketch.

The first card is a sympathy card using Repeat Impressions stamp Becomes a treasure (4017-H).  I heat embossed the sentiment onto pink card stock.  The floral patterned paper is from This & That collection from Echo Park and the green paper is from the Neapolitan collection from American Crafts Dear Lizzy.
The second card I used the Daffodils stamp (904-L) from Repeat Impressions.  I used chalk on this particular stamp and the outside area around it.  I then used Spica pen to add some sparkly enhancements to the flowers and leaves.  The camera didn't pick that up to well but it really does look great.  The paper I used on this card is from Basic Gray.

Repeat Impressions is accepting submissions for this sketch challenge until March 5th.  Simply upload your creation to your blog or Splitcoast gallery and link it the Repeat Impressions blog for your chance to win a $25 Repeat Impression gift certificate.

What If? Wednesday Designer Choice Challenge

Welcome everyone to another What If? Wednesday!!!  Today we have a Designer Choice Challenge from Kecia and she would like us to create a card using our all time favorite Repeat Impressions stamp(s).  I know there are so many great stamps from Repeat Impressions that it may be hard to choose but that is why it's called a challenge.

I decided to use two stamps; the one on the outside of the card is called Sun Beams (4525-K) and the sentiment on the inside is called Moms like you... (4020-G).

The card measures 5x5
I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles (lg) to make my center in the yellow card stock, then embossed it with my Sizzix Big Shot.
The Sun Beams stamp from Repeat Impressions was created using Memento Ink colors: Bahama Blue, Tangelo and Cantaloupe and Copic markers B00, Y38 and Y06.
I hope you are inspired to create a card using your favorite Repeat Impressions stamp also.  Take a look at what my fellow Rock Stars have created using their favorite Repeat Impressions stamp(s).

What If? Wednesday Sketch Challenge from Repeat Impressions

Good morning!
I want to welcome you to another What If? Wednesday from Repeat Impressions.  Today we have a great sketch for you from Wendy with lots of possibilities...
Here is what I did with this sketch...

I just love these stamps I used for this card.  They are from Repeat Impressions and their names are:
 Cat Features - (4204-H) and No Outfit - (2815-H)
I used Memento Dew Drop inks for everything; that way  I could color in with the different inks.  Bamboo Leaves were the eyes and Rich Cocoa was everything else.
The paper used was from Cosmo Cricket's mini deck called Evangeline.
I decided to use the butterflies and some tiny round "card candy" for the edge pieces.
I certainly would love to see your take on this sketch.  If you enter your sketch into our What If? Wednesday Challenge using Wendy's Sketch; you will be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate for some GREAT Repeat Impressions stamps...if you use a Repeat Impressions stamp on that sketch then you will be entered TWICE!!!

Repeat Impressions ***What If? Wednesday*** Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone!  Can you believe Christmas is over?  I know it makes me sad.  I had such a great time visiting with my family though and we all had a great time together.  I hope you were able to do something special too.  I am waiting for the blizzard to hit now.  Cincinnati/parts of Kentucky/parts of Indiana are all effected under these warnings in one way or another until Thursday - Blizzard Warning, Winter Storm Warning and watches. Looovely!  But I won't lie, I absolutely love the snow and cannot wait for it to arrive.  My only concern is of course driving but bigger than that is now Kevin and Kristin both drive to work and school.  So I am really concerned about their ability to maneuver in the slickness of ice and snow covered roads.

So let's think of positive things for now and if you are trapped indoors due to weather then I have just the thing for you, it's another What If? Wednesday here at Repeat Impressions!!!
Today we have a great sketch from Wendy:
This is Sketch #D2612
Here is my take on it:
I had some new paper from Simple Stories and I thought this was just to cute and I also used some Echo Park paper which we all know is my fav!
The stamp I used here is from Repeat Impressions and it is called "Best Gifts" (8615).
I would love to see what you create using this sketch.  Feel free to flip it or turn it!
For even more inspiration hop on over to my fellow Rock Stars and see what they created!

Go on over the Repeat Impressions blog and upload your creation for a chance at a prize!
See you there...

Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful Wednesday and remember to take some time for yourself today!

What If? Wednesday Design Choice Challenge - Blues

Good morning and happy Hump day to you all!  I have a new Designer's Choice Challenge from Repeat Impressions this morning to start you off on your way.  So if you are looking for a challenge then head over to Repeat Impressions Blog and upload your photo there to win an awesome prize from them!!!
So Christy, what is the challenge?  Well...This challenge is hosted by Geri and she would like to see you use 2 shades of blue on something.  So you could create a card, tag/bag...anything as long as it has at least 2 shades of blue.

I decided that I wanted to make a card that wasn't Christmas or Winter themed and here is the card I created for Geri's challenge:

The stamps used are from Repeat Impressions and are "May The Light" - 7007 which is the sentiment and "Underpants Frogs" - 7120
I used Copic markers to color in the frogs and surrounding space, some basic card stock which I distressed and then the clouds paper behind the frogs is on American Crafts paper.  The frogs are on an Action Wobble too!  I never used one before and I thought this was a perfect card to start with.

My fellow Rock Star's would love to share with you their take on this challenge.  So won't you please take a minute to stop by their blogs?

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you know how much I really do appreciate that and all of you.  Be safe out there and have a great crafty day!

What If? Wednesday ***Designer Card Challenge***

Good morning everyone!!!
Today we have another What If? Wednesday Designer Card Challenge for you. I chose the challenge for today and wanted to see what everyone came up with when using a masing technique.
What I decided to do here was to take 2 different stamps; center one stamp and have the other stamp look as if it were peeking in behind and around it on both sides.

The two pumpkin stamps are from Repeat Impressions "Jack0'lantern Cat" #806 & "Tall Pumpkin" #2310 and the "trick or treat" stamp is from Recollections.

I hope you will join in on this week's challenge!
Check out with the other Rock Star's have made to inspire you today...

I want to thank you for stopping by today...take care and find time to do something creative today!

Repeat Impressions - What If? Wednesday!!! Sketch Challenge

Good morning and happy What If? Wednesday to you all!!!  It rained here all day yesterday and was so icky out; I hope today brings something a bit brighter to the Cincinnati area.

Today we have a new sketch from Wendy for the challenge...Sketch #0312

Here is my take on this creative sketch...

I used Pink Paislee  London collection and some Websters paper.  I used the stamp "Best Gifts" - 8615 from Repeat Impressions. The dots are Flamingo Liquid Pearls, ribbon I am not sure of the manufacturer, the scalloped circle from punch and the inner circle from Spellbinders Standard Circles (large).  What I also did to accent this was to take a glitter pen and highlight the roses in the paper as well as around the scallops.
Please stop by the rest of the Rock Stars and see what they came up with for this sketch!

I do hope you play along in this challenge - I cannot wait to see what you come up with.

Thank you so much for stopping by, take care and take some time to do something fun & creative for yourself today!

31 Days of Halloween - Day 3

Happy Hump-Day to you all!  Welcome to Day Three of the 31 Days of Halloween from Smeared Ink. Today what I created was from a sketch that is from a Repeat Impressions What If? Wednesday challenge. So you may recognize the sketch but the card is new.

Paper is from BoBunny and We R Memory Keepers Spooksville paper pack.  The stamps are all from Recollections & Studio G.  They were stamped with Memento black ink and colored in with some Copic markers. I used a white gel pen to accent the scalloped oval and around the half-circle. All the bats are up on foam adhesive to add some dimension.

I hope you like today's card...Thank you for stopping by, take care and I will see you tomorrow...!!!

What If? Wednesday! Designer Card Challenge & More Volunteering

Happy Wednesday everyone...We are half way through this chilly week and almost to the weekend.  Have you been crafting anything lately?  I have been busy creating themed crafts for the kiddos where I am volunteering.  So far so good.  I also just today volunteered to lead a group of volunteers to create handmade Christmas cards...750 of them before the first week in December.  They are talking about an additional 750 handmade ornaments but that is all depending on how many volunteers we get.  It is up to me to decide how many volunteers are needed for this and the what's and how to's.  This will definitely be a challenge but a fun challenge.

What If? Wednesday Designer Card Challenge
Welcome to another week of What If? Wednesday from Repeat Impressions.  This weeks Designer Card Challenge is from Patti and it is all about paper Piecing.
Here is my card that I created for this challenge

I hope that you join us over at the Repeat Impressions Blog, I would love to see your paper piecing creation!
Please stop over at my fellow Rock Stars blogs and see what they created:

Thank you so much for stopping by, I wanted to mention that I did say I would post some of the pictures we took of the house we went to see on Sunday...but after some thought we felt it wasn't the right investment for us to go through with at this time.  I will show you a view of what the outside looks like and one of the 50 pictures Eric and I took of the stairs, lol.  This house is a 3 story + full basement, 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 3 fireplaces, amazing potential for so so much.  I wish circumstances were a wee bit different now and that we could get this.  But as I am learning; God has a plan and even if we don't know what it is right at this moment, God will show it to us eventually.

Thanks again for stopping by, take care and I hope you find the time to create something fun today for YOU!
