Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week!!!

Good morning!  Welcome to a brand new week full of  creativity and inspiration. 

Today for the Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions we highlight the stamp "Today is a Gift" (3113-H)

What a lovely sentiment this is.  Here is the card I created using this stamp...

This card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/2, I used glossy paper and alcohol inks to create this background.

I then used some black card stock to mat my glossy paper and adhered them to a white base.

I used VeraMark ink and some black embossing powder with a heat tool to create the raised sentiment.

I then placed a Maya Roads butterfly on some foam adhesive for a little extra touch.

Here is my card using this stamp:

I have to admit that the metal swirls go perfect with this stamp and it's swirl made by his ice skate.  The card has a black card stock base with a decorative patterned paper of blue/green/white strips on top of that.  Then I used a light blue piece of vellum over the top of the patterned paper.  Spellbinders & my Sizzix Big Shot are what created the scalloped oval.

Stamp Of The Week from Repeat Impressions!!!

Good morning my crafty & talented friends!  Hope you all had a pleasant weekend.  I've noticed that it's been getting colder and colder out - brrrrr.  Time to start bundling up.  Who knows, this  may be the year that I finally take my leather winter coat out and wear it.  The past few winters here in Cincinnati have just been so mild that a sweater sometimes was all that was needed.  

I have to tell you that I am super excited about this weeks stamp from Repeat Impressions.  You will love it too...I promise.

Repeat Impressions Stamp Of The Week

Good morning my fellow crafters...it's time for a Repeat Impressions Stamp Of The Week!!!

This week we are featuring the Maple Leaf Sil stamp (#5127-k). You may have seen a card or two of mine that have has this stamp on them.  That is because it is such a versatile image that you will want to use over and over again.

Here is my card that I created this time using this stamp

 I wanted to create a Fall like scene so I embossed the leaf over and over again in colors of Copper, Gold, Green, Silver that was mixed with some of the above mentioned colors. There is a tree that I cut from my Cricut machine using the Cricut American Alphabet cartridge.  I wanted something different for the tree which is why it is not your basic traditionally looking tree.

I then used some purple ribbon to accent the entire front base of the card.  I felt this really brought it all together.
