Some news and of course more cards!

All my doctor appointments & tests are over now...

I am waiting for the results of the endoscopy that was this past Monday and the biopsy he did on my stomach.  As for the other biopsy that I was supposed to have, I went to doctor and he didn't see any cells that were abnormal and so he did not perform the biopsy yesterday.  Thank God!!!  All is okay for that matter.
Like I said, just waiting on word from the GI doc now.

Yes I have more cards to share with you all too!
I have been a card making machine here lately.  I am trying my hardest to get everything ready for this Saturday and the Brown Grass Festival in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky.  It's supposed to be 91 degrees Saturday...ugh!  But I am still looking forward to it.

Here are my latest:

I love this little guy!!!

The colorful Thank You cards are actually a nice big set consisting of 12 cards, same with the Get Well and the Hope cards; they are sets.

Oh and my Gypsy just decided to freeze up on me 2 days ago and not work no matter what I did and tech support couldn't help either.  So I am currently waiting on the shipping label to send it back to Provo Craft and they are going to send me a new Gypsy.  I love my Gypsy and was so bummed out when this happened.  But I will get a new on so hopefully that one will give me no problems.  It locked up after I updated it...has that ever happened to any of you?  Because the tech support said that that happens sometimes.  I wonder how you can avoid this and still get the needed updates; hmmm, I'll have to investigate that one.

For now this is all I have...I hope you all have a fantastic day and thank you again for stopping by and looking!

Take Care Everyone!

I have DYSPHONIA {it's explained down below}

Hello everyone!  For some of you, you already know that I have been having problems with my throat for some time now.  Around the first of October to be exact.  Well I have had throughout these last two months had a very sore throat, sinusitis, an ear infection, and then to top it all off a horrible cough that sounds well, horrible, LoL!  So now I am left with presently, the sniffles, the horrible cough which is getting somewhat better, still sounds bad though, and the main thing I have now or don't have is my voice.  It started out as kind of a raspy voice which wasn't to bad, then it got to the point that towards the end of the day talking hurt me so bad.  Now I am reduced to a whisper and finally got into see my ENT Dr. today {ENT = Ear, Nose, & Throat}.

Oh it was so much fun there at the Dr's, NOT!  He put this spray in my nose to numb me all up to place a scope down to see my vocal chords.  He had me "attempt" to make some noises while looking through the scope, which was kind of amusing, but never-the-less, I could barely make the noises.
He was finished and then said to me that nothing looked cancerous ~which I was a wee bit worried about b/c I have never had laryngitis THIS long and really didn't know what to think~.  He did say that I have Dysphonia which I have researched on here and if you chose to follow the link it will give you more information about it if you are interested.  Basically what he did for me today was prescribed me some steroids "Methylprednisone" and I am to take that for 6 days.  I guess that is to help with swelling, I am not sure.  I guess I'll have to look this up as well.  But the main thing he wants me to do is go to a "Voice Specialist" to basically as he put it, to re-learn how to use my voice.  He said that without that help I would most likely talk like this permanently and I am a talker...so I cannot afford to not talk! LOL!
So I have already made my appointment for the Voice Specialist and the quickest they could get me in wasn't until December 16th, which is 2 weeks away! I am still researching thing Dysphonia to see what more I can learn about it.  At least I am on the right path to getting better.
I want to thank everyone who has kept me in their prayers and thoughts during this long period of time of frustration, lol.  I guess I have had laryngitis before but it always went away, Ive never had it for this long and yes, it has become very frustration to me as well as to others.  I can't talk and when I do talk...they can't here me!  Arggh. But I am looking at it positively now, since I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Take care everyone!

Depression Sucks!!!

So it's 4:02 AM here in Milford, Ohio now and I have been in a major depression.  I still am in it but I am fighting light crazy to get out of it, believe me, this is no fun.  I'm sure there are some of you who can agree with me or know someone who has been here/there.  I had to totally re-think why I started crafting in the first place and it was because it was FUN.  Lately it's not been fun.  NOTHING has been fun.  The only thing that has been considered fun to me is sleep, and lots of it.  But let me back track here a minute and tell you why and how I got myself into this depressed pickle that I am in.  Oh yes, there is a reason.  It's my fault, 100% my fault.  It's called STUPIDITY, or "Christy stopped taking her medication" either one will due at this point.  I don't know if many of you know that I suffer from a major disability called schizo-affective disorder.  How I describe it is like bi-polar with bells and whistles.   It seems bi-polar is more known and talked about these days so that is why I chose to reference that particular disorder.  I really don't want to go in to all of what schizoaffective is all about, although your more than welcome to go here to learn more if you really want to.  So yea, I have been on permanent disability due to this disorder since 2001 and am on a slue of medicine and you would think that I would know by now that I cannot stop the medicine.  Unfortunately, one of the things with this is that I get to feeling "good" and think that I don't need medicine.  Which I believe is what happened here.  I stopped going to my therapist who I have been seeing for years, just quit, no reason...didn't even say anything to her at all, just stopped.  I'm still seeing my doctor though, I need to see him.  I have really screwed things up this time though I feel.  I think my kids hate me, or at least are pissed at me, why?  I don't know, I have been so distant with EVERYONE that I think they are "retaliating" back at me.  I don't know.  I mean I know they don't hate me, but I just feel the tension there between us.  Unfortunately one of the things with this disorder is paranoia and that may be what I am feeling, but it seems real.  Who knows, I certainly don't.  I am scared to death to tell my psychiatrist that I haven't been taking my pills...I don't know what he will do.  That almost scares me even more...the unknown has always scared me.

So here is my plan that I am going to try and stick to:#1TAKE PILLS EVERYDAY no matter what.  I have been picking and choosing what pills I take in the last few months and that's not good.  I haven't been taking the right ones. #2 Get up everyday and do something outside, where I live has a full free access gym, I need it, lol.  If its not the gym Eric has even suggested going to the mall and window shopping or something like that, just to get out of the apartment for a few hours a day. #3 Get back to seeing my therapist on a regular basis.

So that is my plan for my mental health that I hope to keep...no, I will keep it because I need to in order to live my life in any way shape or form.  I am a complete mess if I don't do the above.

Below are some cards that I have managed to do...

I wanted to share with you some things that I have been doing here and there...I hope you like what you see.
