Something New Here For Me and For You!

Hi there everyone!  I want to share with you something that I have been working on for a few weeks now.  I want to share with you a new company called KaBoks.  It is so new and still in the process of getting up and running that I do not have a website or blog for you yet.  I do have the forum however which is AWESOME!  I will give you the link to that in a second.  Let me tell you what Kaboks is and what they are working on.
Kaboks is a digital scrapbooking company that has some very talented designers and a wonderful creative team.  Then there is me; I am a Creative Explorer for Kaboks and what that means is that I am going to take you on my journey of being a complete newcomer to the digital/hybrid world of scrapbooking and trying to learn how to do everything involved with it.  I will be writing up my journey about all of my experiences.  I do mean ALL the experiences I have with it, I will not sugarcoat any of this.  Just as I will revel in something that I find that is worth shouting about in praise!
I wanted to leave you with a little bit of what I wrote on August 14, 2011 which was before I had delved into any of the digital/hybrid world.

Hi there, my name is Christy and I am one of the Creative Explorers for Kaboks.  I am here to tell you all about my experiences; the good, the bad and the frustrating in learning from scratch how to digitally/hybrid scrapbook.  I want to first tell you a little about me and my experience as a scrapper.  I have been scrapbooking and creating cards now for around 3-4 years.  That is, I actually cut my paper and use supplies that I have to go out and purchase or wait for them to arrive via the mail.  I truly enjoy creating a layout or a card or any other medium using my hands.  I have never really thought much about digital scrapbooking until now.
What do I know of digital/hybrid scrapbooking?  Honestly, not a lot.  I hope you follow me on this adventure as I try my best to learn.  My thoughts on digital/hybrid scrapbooking before now were really confused you could say.  I just didn’t/don’t understand how you can create a layout using only your computer.  I am excited about this journey to experience a new technique and style of scrapbooking.  Because I want to know what the rave is all about!  Is it easier online?  Does it have its advantages?  Is it less time consuming? Is it more fun?  I wonder these things and as I do, I get that feeling that most scrapbookers {probably both digital and traditional} get when they are about to learn and try something completely out of their comfort zone.
This here is written before I have dove into anything digitally related.
Stay tuned for more as I begin to embark in the digital world of crafting!

Now I want to give you the forum link for Kaboks.  The forum is open now and we welcome you to come join us in the start of something new & exciting.  You can meet some wonderful people there and if you are a traditional scrapbooking/card maker/etc. then you are most welcome to follow me on this journey and to start your own journey there as well!
I hope to see a lot of familiar faces over there soon.
Please take care and have a wonderful evening!!! Thank you so much for stopping by!
